On Sunday, June 1st at 6:00pm, Central Assembly and Ridgecrest Baptist Church are uniting for Let Our Incense Rise—a night to lift powerful, participational worship together. The Central Worship Choir, Ridgecrest Worship Choir, and members of both Central and Ridgecrest orchestras will combine for an evening of music from Charity Gayle, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Maverick City, and more.
The evening will also feature special guest, Durell R. Comedy. Durell is the current Worship Pastor at Champion Forest Baptist Church, and previously served for 10 years as singer and soloist for the Grammy Award-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, where he was featured on albums like Love Lead the Way and I Am Reminded—the latter including the song that inspired this evening of worship together: “Psalm 34.” Comedy is a native of Prince Georges County, MD and now resides in Houston, TX, with his wife, Hannah, and 3 daughters, Harlow, Phoenix & Daisy.
This event is free of charge and general admission, so arrive early for best available seating. The event will be hosted at Central Assembly, located in the heart of Springfield at 1301 N Boonville Ave.
