Central Assembly is excited to host beloved Christian speaker, author and ministry leader Joni Eareckson Tada on March 27-29. The founder and CEO of Joni and Friends International Disability Center, Joni is a passionate advocate for people with disabilities.

The best-selling autobiography Joni and the feature film of the same name have shared with readers and viewers Joni’s story of her 1967 diving accident that left her a quadriplegic at 17. During her ministry, Joni has written more than 50 books. Since 1982, she has hosted the Joni and Friends radio program, now airing on more than 1,000 outlets.

6:30pm · An Evening with Joni and Friends
Interested individuals, local churches, and community organizations are invited to a dinner to meet Joni Eareckson Tada and learn more about her team and their work in disability awareness.

  • Tickets are $25 per person and must be purchased in advance.
  • Reserved tables include 8 tickets for your church, organization, or family to use.
  • Sponsored tables provide tickets to individuals, families, or organizations who would not otherwise be able to attend. Donors of sponsored tables will be clearly acknowledged.

Joni welcomes members of the disabled community for a meet and greet over light lunch. Attendance space is limited and available by reservation only. Reservations may be requested until March 26 at (417) 866-5013.

10:00am · Joni Eareckson Tada at Central Assembly
Central Assembly welcomes Joni to share her heart at a special worship service. Admission is free.

6:00pm · An Evening of Worship in Music
Join us at Central Assembly for a Palm Sunday concert of worship and praise featuring Central’s choir, orchestra, and Joni. Admission is free.
