Convoy of Hope One Day | November 16 | 9 & 10:30a | Sanctuary

This Sunday morning, November 16, we will join Convoy of Hope in celebrating their 20th anniversary. The organization’s founders, Hal and Dave Donaldson, will be our special guests. We’ll also receive our 2nd annual One Day To Feed the World offering to benefit the organization. Every 3.6 seconds someone dies from hunger. Every 6 seconds a child dies from lack of pure drinking water. We ask everyone to give one day’s wage toward the feeding ministries of Convoy of Hope. Last year we responded with a generous offering of near $75,000. We hope to surpass that this Sunday. This year’s campaign will touch close to home since 25% of the proceeds raised on Sunday will be used to further Central’s outreach efforts to our own neighborhood.

According to Convoy of Hope, “By taking part in One Day To Feed the World, you will help transform the lives of children by helping us provide healthy living through nutritious food, clean and safe drinking water, and much more.” Find more information about this faith-based, international, humanitarian-relief organization here.
