This Sunday we have two big events on the schedule, Gifts for Kids Tag Distribution and a Come & Go Reception for Pastor Jeff and Carla whose last Sunday with us is November 27. Here’s what you need to know with links for more information.
Our Host Family Lunch & Fellowship will be today in the Fusion Auditorium. Host families and students will gather for a Thanksgiving potluck. Gary Wornica will speak. Our international prayer meeting and ESL classes will not meet this Wednesday.
There will be no Wednesday evening services or activities on Thanksgiving Eve. In observance of Thanksgiving, the church office will be closed November 24 and Friday, November 25. Wherever your celebration takes you, we pray your Thanksgiving is blessed!
This year Kids, Inc. will present the musical, Good King Wenceslas. Join us as knights and ladies-in-waiting celebrate Christmas, the good king’s gift giving, and the power of the Prince of Peace and gospel of Christ to change lives. This ever-delightful evening also will include performances from the Chime Choir, Nursery Choir, and Cherub Choir. The kids will also raise funds for their BGMC goat program!
Gifts for Kids Wrapping Night will be Tuesday, December 6, from 4:30-9:00 in the chapel. The evening will be come-and-go. Just choose when you want to help. We’ll provide gift wrapping supplies, along with dinner and snacks. Contact Hannah to volunteer.
Plan now to get dressed up and join us for our annual Legacy Christmas Dinner on Friday, December 9. Tickets are $20 each. Purchase your ticket and make entrée and dessert choices at the Legacy Counter no later than December 4.
Our next Neighbors Day is Saturday, December 10. Our Oil Change Ministry will not be in action, but our Food Pantry will be open to serve our community. During this season of thankfulness, you can make a difference while sharing your heart with others. It only take 2 hours of your time. Contact us to volunteer!
This wonderful evening of music features both traditional and contemporary Christmas music presented by our Sanctuary Choir & Orchestra. The concert is absolutely free—a gift to our community. Invite your friends and neighbors!
We’re looking for a few friendly faces! If you’re interested in connecting with people and welcoming them to our church, please consider becoming a greeter. We need help on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights. A volunteer service packet, available at the Connect Counter, must be completed and turned in. Sign up on the Sunday bulletin if you would like to join this ministry.
