This Sunday Pastor Jeff will continue his Keep Calm & … series. We’ll also partake of Communion in the morning service. At 6:00p Pastor Jeff conclude his Sunday night series, How Can We Not? We believe God wants to personally minister to every person. Come with an expectant heart and come ready to meet someone new. Join us in making Central a friendly place of worship!

International Ministries | July 31 | 12:00p | Fusion Center

This Sunday is our Host Family Worship and Graduation Celebration. After the morning service we’ll celebrate our summer graduates with a potluck lunch in the Fusion Center. We’ll hear a short missions report from on of our Evangel University students. Also, mark your calendars. Our international prayer service will resume Wednesday, August 10. Our free ESL class will resume Wednesday, August 24.

No Sunday Evening Services/Activities in August

Sunday evening services/activities will not meet during August. This will give the faithful volunteers in our various church ministries a time of rest before the busy fall season is upon us. Also, evening services/activities will not meet September 4, Labor Day weekend.

Wednesday Night Bible Study | August 3 | 6:30p | MPH

Join us this Wednesday night as we kick off our new series on the Holy Land called Windows Into the Bible. Come and see how the land, languages, and culture of the Holy Land can help us better understand the Bible. Come early for fellowship with friends over a cup of coffee.

Thursday AM Prayer | August 4 | 6:30a | Chapel

Starting Thursday, August 4, we will have prayer in the chapel from 6:30-7:30a. If interested, you’re welcome to join us anytime. We’ll be praying for our nation, upcoming elections, our church, families—whatever the need may be. We believe God is going to do great things!

Legacy Breakfast | August 4 | 8:30a | MPH

Plan now to join us in the Multipurpose Hall for a delicious homemade meal and wonderful fellowship at our monthly Legacy Breakfast. Tickets are $6 at the Legacy Counter. If you celebrate a birthday in July or August, your meal is free!

New 6th Graders Breakfast | August 7 | 9:00a | Fusion Café

We want to welcome new 6th graders to Fusion on Sunday, August 7, at 9:00a. Students and their parents are invited to join us for breakfast and an informational meeting all about Fusion. We look forward to seeing you there!

Central’s Moms Groups Registration | August 7 | Foyer

Moms, if you have babies or teenagers or any age in between, we have a moms group for you, even if you don’t attend Central. From MOPS to Fusion Moms, our groups are designed especially for mothers and can give you the support and friendship we all need. If you have young children, you must register by August 17 to ensure a spot for childcare during your meetings. A table will be set up in the foyer on both August 7 and 14 with registration and group information. You may drop registrations in the offering bag or in the blue mailbox next to the kids’ registration counter. All meetings will start in September.

PeeWee & Junior Bible Quiz Information Meetings | August 7 & 14

A new Bible quiz season is coming up. The JBQ (3rd-5th grades) parent information meeting will be Sunday, August 7 at 9:15a in Room 305. The PeeWee (K-2nd grades) meeting will be Sunday, August 14 at 9:14a in Room 305. Bible Quiz is a fun, exciting way to learn God’s Word!

Lost & Found | August 10 | Connect Counter

If you think you may have lost or misplaced an item at church, such a Bible, book, clothing, umbrella, etc., check with lost and found at the Connect Counter. Any items not claimed by Wednesday, August 10, will be donated to charity.

Sunday School Teachers Needed | 9:00a | Kids’ Education Area

We currently need teachers for 1st through 3rd grades. If you have a heart for kids, and would like to help give them a strong biblical foundation, please consider this ministry. Contact kidsarecentral@centralassembly.org if you would like more information.

Host Families Needed | for international students far from home

We are looking for host families for the fall semester. A host family spends time with two to three international students at least once a month to share American culture and God’s love. If you’d like to learn more about this ministry, please e-mail us.
