Come and Celebrate America with us on Sunday, July 3. This annual patriotic service will be filled with music and a salute to our veterans that will make you proud to be an American. Veterans are encouraged to wear their uniforms and service memorabilia. Retired Chaplain (Col.) Scott McChrystal, military representative for Assemblies of God Chaplaincy Ministries, will be our guest speaker. Steve Grant, news anchor for our local NBC affiliate, KY3, will do a reading. This service is open to everyone. Invite your friends and neighbors! Please note that our evening service/activities will not meet.
As we celebrate freedoms we enjoy in America, let’s celebrate our troops. Visit the Connect Counter for a thank you card, write a note, and drop it in the designated basket on Sundays, July 3 or 10. Our military support groups will help send our thanks to those who are defending our freedoms today.
