Throughout the summer we’ve mentioned our partnership with Project Rescue as our summer missions project. This Sunday morning we’re excited to welcome David and Beth Grant, cofounders and directors of Project Rescue, as our guest speakers. We’ll hear of the miraculous ways God is moving, not only to rescue women and children from sexual slavery and human trafficking, but also to restore them to a life of beauty, significance, and wholeness in Him. Thank you for your financial and prayer support toward this missions project. You’re helping to make an eternal difference in some of the most spiritually dark places on earth. We’ll also receive our celebration offering in support of the the Grants and their ministry. Come prepared to give from your heart.
This Sunday we invite all the new international families and students to join us for a luncheon immediately following the service in Room 204. Come and meet Pastors Daisuke and Yoriko and learn about our ministries.
Join us this Wednesday night as Dr. Marc Turnage concludes our series on the Holy Land called Windows Into the Bible. Come and see how the land, languages, and culture of the Holy Land can help us better understand the Bible. Come early for fellowship with friends over a cup of coffee.
Moms, if you have babies or teenagers or any age in between, we have a moms group for you, even if you don’t attend Central. If you have young children, you must register by August 31 to secure a spot for childcare. You may drop registrations in the offering bag or in the blue mailbox next to the kids’ registration counter. All meetings will start in September.
Have you joined us for Thursday morning prayer yet? We meet for prayer in the chapel from 6:30-7:30a. If interested, you’re welcome to join us anytime. When you come, use the Boonville side entrance to the chapel. We’re praying for our nation, upcoming elections, our church, families—whatever the need may be. We believe God is going to do great things!
Our next Legacy Breakfast is Thursday, September 1. We’ll have a Game Day Linger Longer immediately after the meal, so bring your favorite board games. Tickets are on sale as the Legacy Counter for $6. If you celebrate a birthday in September, your breakfast is free.

The Membership Class is for everyone who wants to explore membership and who desires to learn more about Central Assembly’s history, organization, vision, and values. The next class will be Sunday, September 18. To pre-register, please sign up via the bulletin or e-mail us.
We’re looking for host families for students who are far from home. A host family spends time with two or three students at least once a month to share American culture and God’s love. If you are interested in being a host family this coming academic year, please stop by the foyer table this Sunday morning or e-mail us.
