March will be a glorious month at Central Assembly! We hope you will join us for all our Easter events. Here’s a brief summary of what’s coming up.
This Sunday Gary Wornica will speak on “Encouragement: A Lost Art.” Next week is Host Family Sunday. Our own Sheju Sathyyanesan will speak. We’ll enjoy a potluck lunch after the service. All college and young adults are welcome to join us this Tuesday for food and fellowship. The menu will feature Nik Burgers. A $3 dinner donation is appreciated. Please RSVP on the bulletin information card or e-mail us.
This Wednesday night Sevo Lwali will continue our Bible study series, Book of James, with “Simple Advice for Life.” Join us every Wednesday night for solid Bible teaching and insightful table discussions. Come early for coffee and fellowship!
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is just a hop and a skip away! The fun will begin Saturday, March 19, at 9:30am. Come ready to have an exciting time with inflatables, games, crafts, baby chicks, face painting, snacks, Easter egg hunting, and more! Bring the kids; invite your friends and neighbors. This is one of our favorite times of the year to share Jesus with our community.
We still need donations of individually-wrapped candy to fill plastic Easter eggs for our March 19 Easter egg hunt. If you would like to help, please drop a bag or two in the designed drop-off baskets located at each end of the foyer. Thank you for your generosity, Central family!
Brent and Bonnie Johnson from Jacob’s Hope will host A Seder Experience on Wednesday, March 23. The Passover Seder is probably the most beloved home ritual for Jewish families. It involves the retelling of the Exodus and God’s divine intervention on behalf of His people. This unique service will be a wonderful time with the church family. Each table will have a Passover Seder plate in the center containing some of the symbolic foods that are part of the ritual. Everyone who attends must have a ticket. Tickets are free and available at the Connect Counter through March 20.
