Women@Central! You are invited to celebrate an “International Christmas” with us at our annual Holiday Lunch & Expo, coming up Saturday, November 7, from 9:00am-1:30pm in the Multipurpose Hall. Highlights will include a special message from our own Pastor Yoriko, music from an international choir, fun Christmas shopping from over 20 vendors, and inspiring workshops. This Sunday Pastor Daisuke will meet with the men in the Green Room. Pastor Yoriko will share with the women; afterward, the women will rehearse in preparation for the Women@Central Holiday Lunch & Expo. We will sing at the event on November 7.
Wednesday, October 28, we had a fun and tasty evening of fellowship. The chili cook-off had 12 teams competing for top honors. MOPS@Night walked away with the Chili Bowl Trophy. Congratulations to them and to all the teams who competed. Thanks to the hundreds of church family members who joined us for this night of community and friendship!

Neighbors Day is the second Saturday morning of each month. The next day we will serve our community through our Oil Change Ministry and Food Pantry is Saturday, November 14. Central Assembly will host the third LIVE|DEAD Concert of Prayer on Sunday, November 15, from 6:00-7:30pm. Join us for an evening of strategic prayer for the unreached and the LIVE|DEAD teams working to reach them. We will be led in a time of worship and prayer through Scripture by missionaries who serve on LIVE|DEAD teams. Intercession is key; please plan to attend. All retired and semi-retired ministers and spouses are invited to join us for Thanksgiving lunch on Monday, November 16, at noon in the MPH. Our speaker will be Bob Cirtin, Greene County Presiding Commissioner. Cost is $12 per person. Make your reservations at the RMP table in the foyer.
We need at least 50 individuals to help deliver Thanksgiving meals to senior adults. This will be a great opportunity for families to share in doing an act of kindness for someone in need. Our free ESL Conversational English Classes meet Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00p. This is a place for English language learners to come and practice their English speaking skills and make friends with native speakers. No registration is needed.
