Judy is the national chair of the Assemblies of God Network for Women in Ministry. T. Ray Rachels is an AG executive presbyter and former superintendent of the Southern California District Council. Men will meet in the chapel with Ray, and women will meet in the Multipurpose Hall with Judy. Be sure and join us for this wonderful evening of worship and ministry!

Pastor Yoriko will speak about “Transformation” from Second Corinthians 3:16-18. A leaders’ meeting will be in the Fusion Cafe following the service. There are still international students on the waiting list for host families. Two more families are needed to host 2-3 students once a month for one semester. Contact us if you can help.

Churches from across Springfield will gather together for worship and payer at the downtown square on Tuesday, September 22, from 7:00-8:30pm. We encourage the Central family to join with other believers to glorify God and pray for our city.

Wednesday Night Bible Study | September 23 | 6:30pm | Multipurpose Hall

We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God and declare His design and plan for all of mankind. What is the best way to study the Bible? Why should we study God’s Word? Which is the best version? How do I apply the Bible to everyday life? This Wednesday night Dr. Don Johns will continue our new series, People of the Book, with “Interpreting the Bible.” The series will run through November 18 and will cover the following topics:

Chili Chefs, grab your aprons! It’s almost time for our 3rd Annual Chili Bowl! Plan now to join us on Wednesday, October 28, at 6:30 in the Multipurpose Hall. The competition will be loads of friendly fun and a night of incredible fellowship for the whole Central family. Do you think your chili has what it takes to claim Best Chili? Awards will include lots of high fives and the Chili Bowl Trophy, Best Judges Choice, and Best Table Decoration. Submit your old family recipe or join a group of friends and submit an entry together. Pick up registration forms at the Connect Counter. The deadline for entries is Sunday, October 18.

Royal Ranger Mentors | Wednesdays | 6:30p | K-5th grades

Royal Rangers currently has openings for individuals to help mentor future men in our Wednesday night K-5th grade groups. If you are interested in this ministry to boys, please contact the Kids Are Central office at 417-866-5013.

Weaver School Store Volunteers
