In the spirit of the big game, everyone is encouraged to wear a jersey or t-shirt in support of your favorite team. This will offer a fun way to respond to Pastor Jeff’s challenge to engage with one new person at church each Sunday. So when you come to church this Sunday, take a look around. You’ll probably see lots of different sports and teams represented. Some may share the love of your favorite team while others may be wearing the colors of arch rivals. Either way, it’s an opportunity to strike up a conversation with someone new who shares the same challenges as you do: to engage with your church, your community, and your Bible more than ever in 2015.
We gather together, study together, worship together, pray together, serve together, and yes, have fun together. We are better together.
