Yesterday, December 4, we kicked off our most wonderful time of year: Christmas at Central! We lit our first Advent candle, and Pastor Mike began our December sermon series, To Us, with “Wonderful Counselor.” The series will continue next Sunday with “Mighty God.” Last night our talented kids presented a delightful program with “Good King Wenceslas.” Over the next few days and weeks, holiday cheer-punctuated events will continue. Through it all our adoration and love for Jesus, who was born to save the world, will shine! Praise God for His perfect Gift!

This wonderful evening of music features both traditional and contemporary Christmas music presented by our Sanctuary Choir & Orchestra, as well as our handbell choir and the Pipkin Middle School Choir. The concert is absolutely free—a gift to our community. Invite your friends and neighbors! Find more information about the Christmas Festival here!
On Sunday, December 18 join us after the second morning service for our Christmas potluck lunch and fellowship. We’ll celebrate Christmas as well as our international students who are graduating this semester. We have two more Wednesday ESL classes left this semester. Invite your international friends!
We’re looking for a few friendly faces! If you’re interested in connecting with people and welcoming them to our church, please consider becoming a greeter. We need help on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights. A volunteer service packet, available at the Connect Counter, must be completed and turned in. Sign up on the Sunday bulletin if you would like to join this ministry.
