We hope you’re having a beautiful Sunday, Central family and friends! It’s good to return to our regular weekly service schedule today. Today we’re happy to welcome Dr. James T. Bradford, general secretary for the Assemblies of God, as our interim pastor. Pastor Jim served as one of Central Assembly’s much loved and respected senior pastors before being called to serve as a member of Assemblies of God executive leadership. He begins a series on 2 Timothy this morning, and will speak in our 6:00p Sunday evening prayer service as well. Our Fusion youth will resume tonight with a social at 6:00p in the Fusion Center. We’re looking forward to an exciting 2017 at Central!

Wednesday Night Bible Study | January 11 | 6:30p | MPH

Join us for our first Wednesday Night Bible Study of the new year. Pastor Don will introduce our new series on Joshua, Judges, and Ruth. Join us every Wednesday night for teaching, table discussions, and prayer.

Neighbors Day | January 14 | 9:00am | Central Assembly

On Saturday, January 14, both our Food Pantry and Oil Change Ministry will be in action. We need help in both ministries. Giving two hours a month, one Saturday a month, is all it takes to make a real difference in hundreds of lives. Contact us if you can help.

J12 Discipleship Class | January 15 | 9:00a | Fusion Center

J12 is a Sunday morning discipleship class for 6th grade students.The focus is on the 16 Fundamental Truths, Scripture memorization, and learning what we believe and why we believe it. Classes begin Sunday, January 15.

Coffee & Text | January 15 | 9:15a | Fusion Auditorium

Young adults, Coffee & Text starts back Sunday, January 15. Join us for freshly-brewed coffee and teaching from Genesis, focusing on Abraham and the promises of God.

Host Family Sunday | January 22 | 12:00p | Fusion Center

Our monthly Host Family Lunch & Fellowship will be Sunday, January 22, after the second morning service. Dr. Bill Kirsch, missionary to Pan-Africa Theological Seminary in West Togo, will be our guest speaker. Please bring a dish to share and invite your international friends to join our fellowship!

This class is for everyone who wants to explore membership and learn more about Central Assembly’s history, history, organization, vision, and values. Please pre-register by signing up on the Sunday bulletin or by email.

Living Free of Depression | January 22 | 6:00p | Room 122

Our next Living Free study begins Sunday, January 22. The 12-week study by Dr. Donald G. Miles deals with overcoming depression. Workbooks are $13. If you’d like to join us, please sign up on the Sunday bulletin or email us.

ESL Resumes | January 25 | 6:30p | Room 123

Our free ESL classes resume Wednesday, January 25. We have both beginner and intermediate classes that give internationals a great opportunity to practice conversational English. If you have questions about these classes or would be interested in helping teach, pleases contact us.

Host Family Program | Would you like a host family?

If you’re an international who would like to connect with an American host family, please contact us for an application form. A host family will meet with you monthly, help you learn American culture and conversational English, and assist in other ways.

Greeter Ministry | Sunday & Wednesday Nights

We’re looking for a few friendly faces! If you’re interested in connecting with people and welcoming them to our church, please consider becoming a greeter. We need help on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights. A volunteer service packet, available at the Connect Counter, must be completed and turned in. Sign up on the Sunday bulletin if you would like to join this ministry.

Stephen Ministry | Bringing God’s love to those in need

Our Stephen Ministers have been trained to provide confidential one-to-one encouragement, prayer, and weekly support for people who are going through a difficult time. Do you know someone who is struggling with the loss of a loved one, loneliness, cancer, job loss, relocation, divorce, spiritual crisis, recuperation, single parenthood, or any of the countless other life challenges?
