This Sunday morning Interim Pastor Jim Bradford will continue our 2 Timothy series with “Absorb the Word” (2 Timothy 3:14-17). Our annual business meeting will be this Sunday evening at 6:00 in the sanctuary. We’ll have the opportunity to review God’s faithfulness over the past year, look ahead to another great year of ministry, and elect three deacons. Only official members may vote; others are welcome to come and observe. Please pray that God will guide us in our decisions.

International Sunday Morning Connection meets Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 in Room 123. This Sunday Pastor Yoriko will speak from Psalm 23:5. Hey, guys! It’s almost that time of year when young and old dig out their bats and ballgloves from winter storage and head to the dusty diamonds for America’s favorite pastime. Central has four softball teams, and we need players at every skill level. The season starts the first week of April. We’ll have two practices before our first game. If interested, be sure and sign up at the Information Counter by March 16.
A free 2-day marriage enrichment workshop is coming up in March. The meetings will be Friday, March 24 from 5:30-8:30p and Saturday, March 25 from 9:00a-11:00p. Meals and workshop materials are absolutely free. For more information or to register for this free event, email us.
The Springfield North and South sections will join together for the 2017 Light for the Lost Banquet. Missionary Mark Turney will be the speaker. Pastors and spouses will receive free steak dinners. Others may purchase dinners for $8 each at the Information Counter.
Our annual Spring retreat for Fusion students is coming soon! The theme is, “Logos: You May Have Life in His Name.” Fun and a study of John’s gospel will be our focus. The cost is $100 per student. Scholarships are available; applications must be turned in by Friday, March 17. All forms and fees must be turned in by Friday, March 24. Let us know if you have questions.

Our free ESL classes meet Wednesday nights at 6:30p. We have both beginner and intermediate classes that give internationals a great opportunity to practice conversational English.
