International Connections | January 22

Our new International Sunday Morning Connection meets Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 in Room 123. We will study Psalm 23. Then from 12noon-12:30p we’ll have our After Service Connection. This before and after service fellowship meets every Sunday. Come and connect with international friends and leaders.

Kids Are Central Reception | January 22 | 9:00a | MPH

Parents of Central Assembly kids are invited to a parent reception on Sunday, January 22, from 9:00 to 10:00a. Come enjoy fresh bagels and coffee while you connect with other parents, as well as Pastor Justin and Camille.

Young adults, join us for freshly-brewed coffee and teaching from Genesis, focusing on Abraham and the promises of God. It’s Coffee & Text at Central!

Host Family Sunday | January 22 | 12:00p | Fusion Center

Our monthly International Host Family Lunch & Fellowship will be Sunday, January 22, after the second morning service. Dr. Bill Kirsch, missionary to Pan-Africa Theological Seminary in West Togo, will be our guest speaker. We’ll also celebrate January birthdays. Please bring a dish to share and invite your international friends to join our fellowship!

Fusion Tribes | January 22 | 6:00p | Various

Students, are you plugged into a Fusion Tribe? Tribes are Fusion’s take on small group Bible studies. Middle schoolers meet in the Fusion Center. High schoolers meet in various homes. Tribes resume January 22. If you need to get plugged in, contact Caleb.

Wednesday Night Bible Study | January 25 | 6:30p | MPH

This Wednesday night Pastor Mike will continue our new series exploring Joshua, Judges, and Ruth with “Conquest.” Join us every Wednesday night for teaching, table discussions, and prayer.

Music Ministry Opportunities | Sanctuary Choir & Worship Team

ESL Resumes | January 25 | 6:30p | Room 123

Our free ESL classes resume Wednesday, January 25. We have both beginner and intermediate classes that give internationals a great opportunity to practice conversational English. If you have questions about these classes, pleases contact us.

A new Spanish Conversation class begins Wednesday, February 1, at 6:30 in Rooms 121/122. We’re  looking for an additional experienced Spanish teacher. Contact us if you can help.

Living Free Classes | January 29 | 6:00p | Room 122

Our next Living Free studies begin Sunday, January 29. Living Free: Insight is for those who want to overcome or prevent a life-controlling problem. Living Free: Concerned Persons is for those who have a relationship with someone who has a life-controlling problem. Workbooks are $13. Homeschool Potluck | January 29 | 12noon | Fusion Center

Do you homeschool, unschool, co-op, or anything in between? We’d love to meet you. All Central Assembly homeschool families are invited to our first get-together on Sunday, January 29, following the second morning service. Bring a dish to share and meet new friends.

Legacy Breakfast | February 2 | 8:30a | MPH

Senior adults, join us for our next breakfast on Thursday, February 2. Tickets are $6 at the Legacy Counter; $6.50 at the door. If you celebrate a birthday in February, your breakfast is free. Just pick up a ticket, so we know to expect you.

New Marriage Elective | February 8 | 6:30p | Chapel

“Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage” begins Wednesday, February 8. This unique blend of humor and tell-it-like-it-is honesty is all about helping couples get along, have fun, and achieve a successful marriage. Sign up at the foyer table this Sunday or email us.

Host Family Program | Would you like a host family?

If you’re an international who would like to connect with an American host family, please contact us for an application form. A host family will meet with you monthly, help you learn American culture and conversational English, and assist in other ways.

KidZone Helpers | Variety of opportunities

We need help in KidZone, and there are several ways to connect with kids at Central. We are looking for: Check-In Greeter (one service); Sunday School Substitute Teacher (as needed); 10:30a KidZone Service Leader (one Sunday a month); Kids, INC. Music Helper (Sundays, 6pm); Impact Girls Classroom Helper (Wednesdays, 6:30pm).

Stephen Ministry | Bringing God’s love to those in need

Our Stephen Ministers have been trained to provide confidential one-to-one encouragement, prayer, and weekly support for people who are going through a difficult time. Do you know someone who is struggling with the loss of a loved one, loneliness, cancer, job loss, relocation, divorce, spiritual crisis, recuperation, single parenthood, or any of the countless other life challenges?
