Thanksgiving Meal Delivery | November 21 | 9:00a

For the third consecutive year we will host Crosslines and work together to provide Thanksgiving meals for senior adults. We need 50 drivers to help deliver meals to homes Saturday, November 21. We’ll meet at the Fusion Center at 9:00a. Bring the kids and build a tradition! This is the perfect opportunity to minister as a family and teach impressionable young hearts to serve. Live|Dead Concert of Prayer | November 15 | 6:00p | Sanctuary

Central Assembly will host the third LIVE|DEAD Concert of Prayer on Sunday, November 15, from 6:00-7:30pm. Join us for an evening of strategic prayer for the unreached and the LIVE|DEAD teams working to reach them. We will be led in a time of worship and prayer through Scripture by missionaries who serve on LIVE|DEAD teams. Intercession is key; please plan to attend. Retired Ministers Fellowship | November 16 | 12:00p | MPH

All retired and semi-retired ministers and spouses are invited to join us for Thanksgiving lunch on Monday, November 16, at noon in the MPH. Our speaker will be Bob Cirtin, Greene County Presiding Commissioner. Cost is $12 per person. Make your reservations at the RMP table in the foyer.

The Gathering Thanksgiving | November 17 | 7:00p | Fusion Center

College and young adults, come and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with us! We’ll provide the ham, turkey, and gravy. We’re asking everyone to bring a side dish to share. To RSVP or ask a question, shoot us an e-mail. 

Legacy Christmas Dinner | December 11 | 6:00p | MPH

Seniors, plan now to join us on Friday, December 11, for our annual Christmas dinner. This year’s theme is “Adeste Fideles.” The evening will feature a delicious meal, warm fellowship, and a beautiful program. Tickets are $18 each and go on sale this Sunday, November 8, at the Legacy table in the foyer.

Serving the Blind | Help for those affected with low vision

Low vision affects more people than you might expect. In Springfield, Missouri alone, there are roughly 3,500 people with low vision. If you or someone you know needs a blind-accessible Bible, transportation for errands, reading of mail, etc., we want to serve. Stop by the Connect Counter for an information sheet or contact the Center for the Blind by calling 417.831.1964 or by e-mail.

ESL Classes | Wednesdays | 6:30p | Room 123

Our free ESL Conversational English Classes meet Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00p. This is a place for English language learners to come and practice their English speaking skills and make friends with native speakers. No registration is needed.
