For the third consecutive year we will host Crosslines and work together to provide Thanksgiving meals for senior adults. We need 50 drivers to help deliver meals to homes Saturday, November 21. We’ll meet at the Fusion Center at 9:00a. Bring the kids and build a tradition! This is the perfect opportunity to minister as a family and teach impressionable young hearts to serve. Central Assembly will host the third LIVE|DEAD Concert of Prayer on Sunday, November 15, from 6:00-7:30pm. Seniors, plan now to join us on Friday, December 11, for our annual Christmas dinner. This year’s theme is “Adeste Fideles.” The evening will feature a delicious meal, warm fellowship, and a beautiful program. Tickets are $18 each and go on sale this Sunday, November 8, at the Legacy table in the foyer.
Low vision affects more people than you might expect. In Springfield, Missouri alone, there are roughly 3,500 people with low vision. If you or someone you know needs a blind-accessible Bible, transportation for errands, reading of mail, etc., we want to serve. Our free ESL Conversational English Classes meet Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00p. This is a place for English language learners to come and practice their English speaking skills and make friends with native speakers. No registration is needed.
