GriefShare is a friendly, caring support group that will walk beside you through some of life’s most difficult experiences. If you’ve lost a child, spouse, family member, or friend, you may feel overwhelmed with grief. Maybe you’ve lost a job, good health, financial stability, or safety after a trauma. You may be experiencing grief as well. GriefShare can help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.
The 12-week GriefShare program will begin Wednesday, August 5, at 6:30pm and meet each Wednesday night through November 4. Each session will include a video featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects followed by a time of prayer and sharing. A companion workbook is $15. If you’d like to enroll, e-mail Stefanie or call the church office.
On Sunday, July 26, we will have a graduation celebration potluck luncheon at noon in the Fusion Cafe. Bring a dish to share! Graduates and their families are invited. After a recess during the month of July, our international service will resume on Sunday, August 2, at 10:30am in the Fusion Center.
This week Pastor Jeff will continue our Holy Spirit series with “The Fruit of the Spirit: Patience.” Throughout this series we are learning about different facets of the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives. Join us every Wednesday for fellowship, Bible teaching, and discussion.
All veterans, National Guard, reservists, and active duty personnel are invited to join us for breakfast, fellowship, and support the first Saturday of every month. Meetings are at the VFW Post at 1136 E. Atlantic. If you have questions, contact Wayne.
This group meets the first Sunday of each month and offers support to military personnel, as well as to their families who are holding down the home front. For more information, contact Sheila.
Bible Quiz for all age levels will soon start an exciting new season. PeeWee Bible Quiz and Junior Bible Quiz (K-6th grades) are fun, exciting ways to learn God’s Word. We’ll have an information meeting during Fusion Life on Sunday, August 9, at 9:15am. Join us and hide God’s Word away in your hearts! If you have questions about any Bible Quiz level, contact Marci Woodward.
After the July break for Camp Meeting, join us for our regularly scheduled breakfast on Thursday, August 6, at 8:30 a.m. We will celebrate both July and August birthdays. Every second Saturday of the month is Neighbors Day. So on August 8, we will serve our neighborhood through our Food Pantry and Oil Change Ministry. In addition, Fusion Student Ministries will partner with Neighbors Ministries and host a yard sale. Donations may be dropped at the Fusion Center during any service time. Proceeds will go to Convoy of Hope, Myanmar, and winter survival kits for the homeless.
