“America! America! God shed His grace on thee! And crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea!

Celebrate America! Sunday, July 2, at 10:30a!

On Sunday, July 2, come and Celebrate America with us! Interim Pastor Jim Bradford will offer a timely message: “Following Jesus in a Politically-Charged World.” Nothing in this world can compare with the freedom and life we have in Jesus.

A highlight of our service will be heart-soaring music, including “Hoe-Down” from Aaron Copland’s Rodeo, “Sing the Stars & Stripes,” a medley of three favorites: “You’re a Grand Old Flag” “This Is My Country,” and “The Star-Spangled Banner.” The Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra will carry on our tradition of a special tribute to veterans of our armed services with “This Is America,a medley of the anthems for all the branches of service. They’ll also premiere an original arrangement by Pastor Chad Rose of “O God, Our Help in Ages Past.”

Steve Grant, KY3 news anchor, will offer a special reading honoring those who have served and an experience he had while traveling.

We’ll conclude by praying that God will continue to shed His grace upon our great nation, remembering that the freedoms we enjoy in America are nothing compared with the freedom we have in Christ.

Invite your friends and neighbors!.

Veterans are encouraged to wear their uniforms and/or service awards and decorations as we Celebrate America. Thank you for your service!

Please note that our evening services and activities on Sunday, July 2, will not meet.
