Chili Bowl

Chili. A fall staple with endless recipes and variations that are defended with honor, passion, and a firm wooden spoon. Are you a purist that demands a simple stew of beef with spices or does your variety include beans, tomatoes, and maybe the kitchen sink?

It’s nearly time for the 2nd Annual Chili Bowl and regardless of where you stand when the chili battle lines are drawn, there’s no doubt that we all win. The night will be filled with delicious chili sampling, games for the kids, and a throwdown for the best chili at Central Assembly. Don’t miss this beautiful evening of family, church, community…and chili!

The Prize

What are the chili masters competing for? The praise and recognition of their chili prowess (we’re thinking high-fives in the foyer). Plus, the amazing Chili Bowl trophy, a traveling monument to past and future winners of this friendly competition. And the accolades don’t stop there.
